The Eagles? The Eagles will be borderline wild card if they have no injuries.

My gut feeling is that Jim Johnson's defense is going to help them out, as in the past. I'm also not happy about the Giants with Tikki out and Eli still learning. Similair situation with Dallas with Parcells out and I'm sure defensive coaches have schemes to stop Tony Romo.
Also, I see character in Andy Reid's teams and last year is just an example. Eagles finished the season with 5 conescutive wins and with a record of 10-6.

Bears will not be in the playoffs. Look for a surprise from Detroit. Which will allow Green Bay to take it.

Are you kidding U.P. Man? Detroit should be a better overall team but team chemistry and talent win in this league. Detroit has more talent now then it has in a long time but in football the chemistry must be there and usually that takes time and sometimes one to two years to do. I know the Bears have it and it took them 2-3 years to do it. I think the Bears (barring injury) will be more explosive this year than last and most Bears fans think that Thomas Jones was over-rated so don't expect much from him Jet's fans. Sure Rex will be the bad Rex at times but I expect that to stabilize a little more this year with having time to soak in all of last year's experiences and working on those problem areas in the off-season. Again, don't get me wrong, Rex will make mistakes but I don't think he will be as bad at times as last year. However, I expect him to have 1-2 interception games at times which most quarterbacks have throughout the season. The Bears win the division with Detroit in second and the Vikings in last. As you can tell in the pre-season games even, the Vikings offense is going to have problems because they have an inexperienced quarterback, little talent at wide receiver and the chemistry just isn't there. The Bears and Saints will once again fight it out for the NFC Championship.

I'm from Detroit and the quarterback position is a question mark..the same goes for Minnesota..and Green Bay is a young team..no matter how great Brett Favre is they can't do much with that core. I'm looking to Chicago taking advantage of the weak division. Their defense is once again strong.

The winner in the AFC will either will be the Colts or New England.
The NFC the winner will be either Chicago or Dallas.
Yet , the season just began. There is a lot of more football to be played.
There is no question that Colts and New England will make it to the playoffs. And in the NFC Dallas and Chicago has more to prove. For different reasons. Dallas wants to show the whole league that there over the mind f**k from the fumble snap by Romo. And Chicago wants to prove that last season was not a fluke and that they can win the Super Bowl with Grossman.
And Cincinnati will make it to playoffs and so will the Chargers.
And back to the NFC the Saints will be in the mix as well.
But am sticking to my guns that Dallas and New England or the Colts will be in the Super Bowl.

Am 10 out 15 ! ! !
Now I know you may be thinking that is not 80%.
I hit about 70% for week 1 that is not to bad if I say so my self.
Now the results for the Monday Night games are 2 for 2.
Yes , that is right.
Thursday I was right by picking the Colts over
the Saints. And Sunday I was 7 out 12 , and of course I was 2 for 2 on Monday.
Well not bad if I do say so myself.
So here are my picks for week 2 in the NFL.
Cincinnati over Cleveland
St.Louis over San Francisco
Pittsburgh over Buffalo
Carolina over Houston
Minnesota over Detroit
Denver over Oakland
Seattle over Arizona
New England over San Diego
Colts over Tennessee
New York Giants over Green Bay
New Orleans over Tampa Bay
Jacksonville over Atlanta
Dallas over Miami
Chicago over Kansas City
New York Jets over Baltimore
Monday Night
Philadelphia over Washington

The only thing I disagree on is the Bears, they will not win the North again this year, i believe the Packers will over take them and Bears will be a Wild Card team. But you are correct when you say Patriots win it all!
