There is a huge difference between a government that is "business-friendly" and a government that is "market-friendly." The Obama Administration resides squarely in the former category. First from American Thinker's...

The Eagles need a new quart... (Below threshold)1. Posted by Clancy | November 19, 2007 4:00 PM | Score: 0 (0 votes cast)
The Eagles need a new quarterback, they just haven't come to that realization yet... Maybe by the time Vick is free, they'll be ready.

Given that Vinny Testaverde, Trent Dilfer and John Beck are presently employed as starting NFL quarterbacks, I don't think Vick will have much trouble scaring up a job.
Big difference is that those 3 didn't commit felonies and serve time.
And honestly, if Ray Lewis can come back from being accused of knifing some people to death, shouldn't Vick be able to rebound from snuffing a couple of pooches?
It's another thing to also be acquitted of a crime by a jury of your peers vs. committing a crime where the evidence is so overwhelming and grotesque that the defendant (Vick) decides to admit guilt, forgo a trial and do the time.
Also, provided Roger Goodell is still NFL commissioner when Vick gets released, I would imagine he'd keep Vick's suspension in place. To lift it would make any future punishments or suspensions coming down his office as meaningless and powerful as any U.N . resolution.
