New Jersey Nets guard Jason Kidd is being sued by a model who claims he sexually assaulted her in a nightclub two months ago.
The alleged victim says Kidd stared at her for a time, then went up to her and started grabbing her butt, but was rescued when bouncers peeled Kidd away. Kidd, a persistent bugger, got free of the bouncers, went back to the woman, pushed her against a wall and stuck his hand up her dress. The woman claims that Kidd then verbally threatened her, saying, "If we have a fight, who do you think is going to win?" When the woman then tried getting out her cell phone to text someone Kidd slapped it out of her hand. The accuser says she exited the club a short time after this.
The NYPD confirmed on Oct. 17 that this same woman filed a criminal complaint against Kidd, accusing him of the same things alleged in the lawsuit, but the woman's lawyer says no law enforcement action was ever taken against Kidd. A spokesperson for Kidd said at the time that the accusations were fabricated. The woman is seeking unspecified damages.
Sounds like another sleazy broad trying to make a quick buck off a pro athlete. At least I hope that's what it is. Cause if Kidd actually did the stuff this woman says - well, then he's a colossal dirtbag.
